HKPW rents a flat in an industrial building as our rehearsal studio in recent years. Since then, the Band has a comfortable place for rehearsals and plans our band rehearsals as well as sectional rehearsals more flexibly. The Studio is a place for members to gather as well as a workplace for the Band Committee.
Studio Hire
With shortage of rehearsal space, increasing rent makes performing arts groupsˇ¦ life even difficult. To promote development of performing arts, HKPW welcome the public and other organizations to hire our Studio for own practice, academic purposes, rehearsals or events beyond our rehearsal times. The Studio is over 1,000 square feets and well equipped with full set of percussion instruments for normal concert bands, as well as photocopy services and independent washrooms.
The Studio is near to the Latitude/ Mikiki the shopping mall and accessible by many bus and minibus routes. There are also minibuses to and fro Kowloon Tong and Kwun Tong MTR stations. It is in 15-minute walking distance from Diamond Hill MTR station.

Basic hiring charges include air-conditioning and electricity supply.
Hirer may rent percussion instruments including Timpani, Drumset, Bass Drum, Xylophone, Vibraphone,ˇ@ Glockenspiel, Keyboards, Marimba, etc. Instruments hire is upon request and availability. Additional charges
ˇ@ will be applied.
Discounts on venue and instruments hiring charges are negotiable, subjected to hiring purposes, nature of ˇ@ hirer, hiring times and frequency.

Application should be submitted to any HKPW Committee member in person, by fax or e-mail.
Availability of the studio can be checked before application. Applicant will receive a reply from HKPW as soon as the application is received.
Upon successful booking, applicant will receive a confirmation with an invoice. Payment should be settled by the due date advised on the invoice. Cancellation of booking has to be submitted at least three days before the booking date. Otherwise all paid fees will not be refunded.
HKPW reserves the rights to modify or terminate the booking at any time and modify the terms without prior notice. HKPW also reserves the final discretion right on all relevant matters.
